This privacy policy tells you about how and why we collect and use the personal data which you provide to us or which we collect about you when you interact with us, for example, when you use our website.

We want you to be fully informed about how we use your data, how we keep it secure and your rights.

We may need to update our privacy notice from time to time, however the latest version of our notice will always be available on our website, with any material changed communicated to you by email.

Sheever Cosmetics ULC

This privacy policy is provided by Sheever Cosmetics ULC. We are the data controller of any personal data we collect about you in Ireland. We are responsible for the Inglot Ireland website (www.inglot.ie) and any orders placed by customers on the website.

Lawful use of data

We will only use your personal data where we have a lawful basis to use it. We will only use your data where it is necessary for us to perform our contract with you (for example, to fulfil your order), or in a way which might reasonably be expected as part of running our business, and which does not materially impact your rights.

We may sometimes need to use data to comply with our legal obligations (for example to pass on details related to fraud) In other instances we will ask for your consent to use your data, for example, where you sign up to receive our email newsletters.

The information we collect

We collect personal data needed to identify you, such as your name, address, email address, username, password, and telephone number allowing us to fulfil orders that have been placed online.

Your name and email address allow us to send you email newsletters and up to date information about our products and services, where you have given us your consent to do so.

Where you grant your consent your name and email address can be entered into competitions, prize draws or events run by us.

We do not store any payment card numbers once the transaction has been completed; we will share this data with credit card companies to facilitate the order process as per your order confirmation.

Trusted third parties

We share some of your personal data with trusted third parties to allow us to provide our services to you. When we do share your data with these third parties, we only provide the information they need to perform the service.

These parties are:

  • An Post, PayPal, Cashflows, Revolut, Shop pay, Google pay – for the payment and delivery of online orders
  • Constant contact for the distribution of our newsletters
  • Facebook, Instagram, google analytics – social media platforms to show you products you might be interested in

We may receive information about you from third parties, such as partners we run competitions and events with, for example, organisations we work with, or from publicly available sources.

Depending on your settings or the privacy policies of social media such as Facebook we may collect information about you from these sources, with your permission.  

We may combine the information you have given us, with information obtained from other sources, but we will only do this when we have a lawful basis to do so.

Keeping your personal data

We will only keep your personal data for as long as we need to for the reason we collected it, as set out in this privacy policy. For example, for as long as needed to allow us to fulfil your order or to provide any customer services support you have requested, or for as long as you hold an account with us.

We may also keep hold of some of your personal data if we are required to do so for legal purposes. For example, to meet our legal or regulatory requirements or to prevent fraud and abuse. For example, we will keep your order data for 6 years after you place an order with us to allow us to comply with our legal obligations with the revenue commissioners.

Up to date personal data & security

It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. If you have an account with us, please keep your details up to date.

We are committed to ensuring that your personal data is secure and we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, contractual and managerial procedures, including secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption, to protect your personal data, our employees who have access to and process your personal data are obliged to respect the confidentiality and security of your personal data.

How to unsubscribe

We love sharing all our Inglot news with you, but if you decide that you don’t want to receive these communications at any point, you can unsubscribe as follows:

Email us at: customerservice@inglotireland.com or click on the unsubscribe button on the bottom of any email we send you.

If you have an account with us, you can also unsubscribe by selecting the newsletter tab in your account. Here you can untick the box and this will automatically unsubscribe you from our newsletters. If you receive something after doing this, please email our customer service team.

Data protections rights

You have the following rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you, to request.

  • Access to the personal data we hold about you
  • The correction of the personal information that we hold about you if it is incomplete or inaccurate.
  • The deletion or removal of personal data we hold about you where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it or where you have exercised your right to object to processing.
  • For our processing of your personal information to be restricted in certain circumstances. For example, if you want to establish its accuracy or the reason for processing it; and
  • To withdraw consent

We may ask you for proof of your identity before dealing with your request as a security measure to protect your data.

Inglot Ireland uses cookies to enhance your visit. We do not use cookies to store personal information or to disclose information to third parties. We use permanent cookies to store your choice of start page and to store your details if you select ‘remember me’ when logging in. We use session cookies when you use the product filtration function. To check whether you are logged in or if you put an item in your shopping cart.

You can easily erase cookies from your computer or mobile device using your browser. Please note that if you choose to disable cookies, you will not be able to take advantage of all our features. We use third party cookies to collect statistics in aggregate form in analysis tool google analytics.

Account data privacy policy

 If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. You are responsible for keeping such information current, complete, accurate and truthful. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account, username and/or password. You agree to provide only current, complete, accurate and truthful information. With regards to online customers who are under the age of 18 you may use this site only with involvement of a parent or guardian. We may use the information you provide to improve and personalise our services, content, and advertising. Inglot is committed to respecting your privacy.

We have taken all measures to protect your data from loss, manipulation, unauthorised access, we continually adapt to our security measures in line with technological progress and developments. You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold on you. If your data is incorrect, you can ask to have the information corrected or removed. We will not pass on, sell or swap your data to third parties for marketing purposes outside Inglot. Data that is forwarded to third parties, for example, shipping agents in connection with the delivery of goods, is only used to meet our commitment to you.

Humm Ireland

Humm is a retail instalment payment plan facility, an easy alternative to paying with cash or with credit card for your goods, Humm allows you to buy now and pay later using your Humm approval.

Its all about you – You’re in total control. You select the goods, you select the amount; you select the plan, you have full access to your Hmm account via your very own self-serve portal. You can even pay out your purchase early without any additional fees or charges.

Credit cards

Card details are checked and verified by a third party and goods are dispatched once authorisation has been obtained. All details are always protected.

Gift cards

Your gift card can be used as full or part payment. The value of your purchases will be deducted from the balance on your card. Any remaining balance can be used against future purchases. Inglot cannot accept responsibility for any gift cards that have been stolen, lost or damaged.

Pricing

The prices quoted are those ruling at the time of production. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alterations to the rate of value added tax.

Availability

All ordered for products are subject to availability. In the event of supply difficulties, we will be unable to supply these products until they are back in stock.

Colour reproduction

Care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and colours are as accurate as possible. However, limitations can exist with regards to colour. Depending on settings and clarity of your computer or mobile screen. We attempt to be as accurate as possible when describing our products on the site.; However, we do not warrant that the product descriptions, colours, information, or other content available on the site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
