INGLOT Cosmetics Ltd. is a family run Irish business owned and operated by the Swarbrigg family based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. We currently have seventeen stores located nationwide; seven in Dublin, two in Cork, one in Limerick, one in Galway , one in Dundalk, one in Belfast , one in Waterford, one in Athlone, and our newest venture and second store in Northern Ireland- Derry and of course our thriving and recently upgraded Online Site (www.inglot.ie). This October we opened our first official store in the UK, Inglot Newcastle situated in Eldon Square shopping centre. We had over 500 people queue from 6am the morning we opened, so we have already built up a loyal following of #inglotaddicts in the UK. We have more exciting plans in the pipeline and are interested in locations both in Ireland and in the UK in 2018. Inglot currently employ over 300 people nationwide.

 

Inglot’s social media has grown from strength to strength in the last couple of years with a Facebook following of just over 147,000, and an Instagram following of over 180,000. Our Snapchat is also a favourite among customers and is updated daily with fabulous looks and tutorials created by our amazing teams, who are constantly bringing you different themes and fresh on trend stylish looks. The exciting new role of ' Social Media Specialist' has also been introduced in to Inglot earlier this year, so keep an eye out for these amazingly talented MUA’s across our social media channels.

The exciting global brand was brought to the Irish marketplace in July 2009 in the middle of the recession by Mullingar natives, Geraldine, Peter and Jane Swarbrigg.

Peter Swarbrigg is Inglot's Financial Controller & Head of Inglot's Brand Developement for Ireland and the UK. Jane (janeinglot), the other half of the brother/sister dynamo duo is responsible for Marketing, PR and Event Management. Jane has rapidly become one of Ireland's most impressive online and social influencers with her Instagram following now boasting 35,000 and her Snapchat over 50,000. Last year Jane was crowned Girl Boss of the Year at the Gossies and also Trailblazer of the Year at the Shemazing awards. Recently she was nominated for Beauty Entrpreneur of the Year in the IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards and Young Businesswoman of the Year in the 2017 Image Businesswoman Awards. Jane presents a weekly beauty column on Dublin Live and is a regular guest speaker at conferences and in schools and colleges. Each year Jane hosts Roadshows across the country with hundreds of #inglotaddicts in attendance. The shows demonstrate different makeup looks with some of Inglot's Pro Team members using our highly sought after products. No doubt Jane gets her stage presence and showbiz personality from her Dad, musician and songwriter Tommy Swarbrigg who played with Joe Dolan & the Drifters in the 60's and went on to represent Ireland as The Swarbriggs with his brother Jimmy in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1975 and 1977.

Geraldine Swarbrigg has been in the retail business since the early 80's. She was responsible for bringing International fashio brands- Vero Moda, Jack & Jones, Exit and Aldo shoes to Ireland. Geraldine recently received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2017 IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Awards.

The energetic Irish family have spearheaded the opening of 16 Inglot stores throughout Ireland along with a thriving online website. The Swarbrigg family are taking Inglot to the highest level in retail beauty and have many more exciting plans in Ireland and abroad this year.

The first INGLOT store opened in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin, and, with a rapidly growing fan base for the innovative make-up range, in a short seven years, 16 new stores quickly followed suit including Inglot’s Pro Store located on South Anne Street, Dublin. The fantastic Inglot freedom system was something completely new to the Irish beauty market. With almost 5,000 stores located worldwide Inglot is one of the biggest cosmetic companies in the world, with some of its Irish stores in the lead, including Inglot Dundrum which have won several awards for Best store of the year across the brand.

Inglot’s ethos is to enhance our client’s natural beauty using innovative, high quality products at reasonable prices. In October 2016, Inglot Cosmetics was awarded the highly prestigious Retail Excellence Award for Best Digital Campaign for our Pro Team Roadshows. We are extremely proud to have the Retail Excellence Ecommerce Trustmark and be recognised as a member of Retail Excellence Ireland. In 2017, we entered the competition again, this time we put forward our very successful Signature Collection in the same category and were again very lucky to take home the Best Digitial Campaign award for a second year in a row.
